Tried to give Hansel some business on rebuilding my motor and transmission that was already removed from my car,dropped it off in October cause he was recommend to me by a family member and gave him a 2k deposit to come to find out now in June that he hasn't even started any of the 2 and I wasn't even calling him to check up or rushing him on the work so I decided to pick my stuff up and he wants to tell me that he spent $500 on some parts that I have to go and pick up myself in Queens. That's why I never give full payments to any shop due to lack of communication and work would never deal with him again or recommend him to no one due to not being a honest person and dirty/filthy or should I say disgusting shop

Great dude and he hooked me up to get inspection done wit tints definitely will be my go too

After swapping out a motor and transmission as well as the ecu, I could not get my car started at all. I brought my car to Hansel and he was able to get the car running! I have also taken other cars for maintenance. I highly recommend Hansel Built!!!!

I give this place ZERO stars! I left my car for repair at Hansel's because it was leaking antifreeze and overheating, my car was there for 3-4 days before anybody actually looked at it. I called him constantly, even showed up twice, and he continued to give me the run around on my repair something about waiting for a piece. Finally, my car was ready, he charged me $250. According to them the issue was addressed. Only to find myself back there a day later because my car was still overheating. They added more antifreeze claiming it was lacking fluid. 2 days later back again because everything leaked out. Only to have a mechanic briefly look at the car and tell me it's the AC leaking. After being disregarded and given the run around at Hansel's built because I'm a female and not one of his boys, I decided to take my car to a reliable mechanic who PROPERLY diagnosed and repaired my car in a day! All I did was waste my money ($250 at Hansels, another $250 at the other mechanic, and over $150 in ubers), time, and energy at Hansel's built. Please consider having your repairs done elsewhere, these ppl are not reliable and completely unprofessional.

Honest and reliable. I only know him and some of his employees for close to a year and yet the owner is very knowledgeable of his cars especially hondas. He will not break your pocket. He will straight up tell you if buying the part is cheaper if he orders it or if he does. I just had my motor ordered and he recommended a place and his quote was right on. Need an oil change? Check engine light on? Brakes need to be serviced? Car is misfiring? Go to him for any work to be done. Make sure you go with at least 50% of the labor if planning to have him do the work afterwards. Even if its to diagnose it you have to pay for his labor and that is labor. I respect him for that. Tell him Eddie sent you( gold Odyssey 01).
